[ubuntu] missing wubilder/ cannot find grldr

http://ubuntuforums.org – Not to sound like a total newb with Ubuntu, but i went thru the installation process. Everything worked fine until i robooted and selected to run Ubuntu. An error msgs pops up instantly saying "try hd 0,0 no wubild, try hd 0,1 NTFS5: 2 try hd 0,2 no wubild found. It also says cannot find grldr in all drives. Press ctr+alt+del to reset." Now ive been thru most of the forums and its seemed to me that the problem was i didnt have a wubildr and wubuildr.mbr copied in my C:drive, so that was the first thing i checked. they were both there... I had installed win7 in C drive and then I installed ubuntu using install inside windows feature in another drive.

For some reason my windows got corrupt, still ubuntu worked fine. Over the years, I had forgotten that I had installed ubuntu inside windows and I formatted c drive and installed a fresh copy of win7.

Hi. I've been trying to install Ubuntu via Wubi on my new Asus K55V laptop. The installation appears to complete fine without errors, but when I then reboot I get this boot screen error:

The arcane language here is Danish. The "status" code is "0xc0000098".

I just clicked through the LiveCD installation... I also have another Windows installation, it would be awesome if that didn't get wrecked... oh well, but anyway: What is this?

I tried installing Ubuntu x64. I mounted the .iso file using daemon tools, and copied its contents on my USB. I already configured BIOS to boot from USB.

I found wubi.exe in that mounted .iso file. I ran it and it installed Ubuntu, then it said, I must reboot. I selected reboot now options.
