I have a Microsoft wireless multimedia keyboard and when I try to assign the logout command to the logout key I have in my keyboard, the key won't get detected as an accelerator. Can someone help me out?
The sleep key next to logout works fine.
I also tested this on Windows and the key works, so its obviously not faulty (hardware-wise).
I'm using Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS with Gnome 3.4.
Hello.
I am new to Ubuntu one, and I have implemented Ubuntu One OAuth to access data via the Ubuntu One API using OAuth 1.0a and its works fine for me. But how can I logout from Ubuntu One using OAuth URL?
I've just upgraded my system to [testing] and [gnome-unstable] Most everything works fine, except there seems to be no way to logout. No logout entry in user menu or by hitting ctrl alt del. Fast user switch on the lock screen does work, as does rebooting via the user menu.
superkey+x and then A-reboot doesn't work anymore. The other options like logout, shutdown and cancel do.Then, to make things worse, when I choose A-logout, I get the login screen but the keyboard doesn't work anymore, so I can't enter a username.Could it have to do with having enabled numlockx at start up?
This is really strange. I had just downloaded an image file. Just double clicked the file to open in 'eog', and the system suddenly logout my current gnome 3 session to LightDM screen.
I logged in again and navigated in nautilus, double-clicked it (It loads in eog for 2 seconds upto 98% just when logout occurs) only to see another logout.
What can be the problem.
With Fedora 17 I have a PS/2-connected keyboard. If I hold just the left CTRL key down for a period (say 5 seconds) then the whole keyboard locks up. The USB-connected mouse still works and I can navigate menus, etc. I can logout and then the keyboard works for login.
Hello. I'm not a programmer, I'm just trying to make this work.
There's this pygtk2 app to use as a logout app for IceWM (or any other WM just by modifying the 'Logout' entry).
I used to use it some time ago in Debian.
If I run 'python icewm-logout' it runs but just calling 'icewm-logout' gives:
Code:
$ ./icewm-logout
: No such file or directory
What should be changed?
I recently upgraded to 12.10 from 12.04, I have a wireless Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse (both ise the same dongle) my mouse works but the keyboard doesn't (it types random things) but my wired keyboard works just fine, is there a fix for this?
