http://ubuntuforums.org – Hello everyone, I am trying to figure out how to change my screen resolution. I have Ubuntu 8.04 and when I go to change my resolution to 768x1024 that option is not there. The Max I can go is 856 x 600 and not sure why. This is the same system that when I had Win install it recognized it and let me do 1024x768. So is there a trick/technique to get my higher resolution in Ubuntu? And please I am a noobie to make the instructions very simple. Still in training here. thanks and have a nice one, Bud (Hardware)
