I have a Logitech Squeezebox. When the server is running on my PC and I connect my SIII via USB an album 'Logitech Squeezebox Server' appears in Gallery. Anyone any idea why?
PS it stays there when I disconnect unless I stop the server first.
Hi all,
There is one unanswered post already on this topic.
I wonder if anyone ever tried to install Logitech Cordless Handset in any Ubuntu version?

Im having issues with my external hard drive (usb, called "Elements", machine PC123, user user123), while playing music or videos on it.
When playing music, it usually skips 2 tracks in the playlist, and plays the next track which is on that same drive. Also, it can play the skipped tracks right after.
I have an old Athlon XP 3000 machine that I keep around as a file server.
It's currently got three 1TB drives which I had setup as mdadm raid 5 on FC10. The machine's original drive held the superblock for the raid array and it just had a massive heart attack.
I have recently re-purposed my old desktop PC as a 'server' running Ubuntu LTS 12.04. I want to use the machine as my primary squeezebox server in place of my HTPC MacMini (to reduce the strain on the MacMini).

Ok so i moved from windows to ubuntu 12.04 32bit yesterday and im still learning the folder structure etc of *nix systems. What im trying to do is create a symlink from my 2nd hard drive's, which is supposed to be mounted in every boot on /media/media, folder named Music (so /media/media/Music) to ~/Music.
Even though it works while im logged when i reboot the symlink breaks.
I setup a new Linux server running Apache then transferred my web server files. When I try to pull up my site in a browser like this http://mysite.com/index.php I get a "403 Forbidden" error.
Looking at the permission on index.php it seems like everything is ok.
