[ubuntu] Linksys WUSB100 - Wireless USB Device

http://ubuntuforums.org – I have been following a post with wolvie when he was helped with configuring his wireless card (WUSB100) -- I ran the same commands on my computer that he was told to and have the following outputs iwconfig wlan3 IEEE 802.11bgn Mode:Managed Frequency:2.412 GHz Access Point: Not-Associated Tx-Power=9 dBm Retry long limit:7 RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off Power Management:on Link Quality:0 Signal level:0 Noise level:0 Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0 Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0 I have another wireless card that is old and slow that works and it has the following output when using iwconfig: wlan0 IEEE 802.11b ESSID:"2WIRE909" Mode:Managed Frequency:2.412 GHz Access Point: 00:1F:B3:A1:2E:21 Bit Rate=1 Mb/s Tx-Power=27 dBm Retry long limit:7 RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off Power Management:off Link Quality=14/100 Signal level=14/100 Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0 Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0 Can you please help me. I am very new to Ubuntu -- and would at least like to be able to have my usb wireless device work. Thanks! (HowTos)
