http://ubuntuforums.org – how to make my images and java jar files, to have access only if i download from my server website. I dont want to allow downloads from other sources, like wget etc. (Hardware)

Oracle Java has been removed from the official Ubuntu repositories due to the new Java license.

I want to download only .exe files from example.com , I used wget -mk http://example.com / but it downloads all files of the website .. also I want to avoid some folders like /fr , /jp from the website . How to do that ..?

Due to the new Java license, Oracle JDK was removed from Ubuntu repository and it doesn’t be hosted in the PPA. If you want to use Oracle Java instead of OpenJDK Java Runtime in Ubuntu.

I'm unable to use web-based java content due to my version being out of date.

I have a script that downloads a huge file (~4gb) as part files. This script is called from within java thread. This script uses wget utility of Linux to download the files. Suddenly the script exits abnormally with the error message

Hi All,

I am trying to run a grep command which creates an output file.

Then I will run a java file which take that file and process that. My java file uses other java files and library jars. I have tried below code but I am getting compilation error,it can not find other java files in same directory.

I had a lighttpd server which works normally. I can access this website from outside(non-localhost) via http://vm.aaa.com:8080. Let's just assume that it's a simple static website, without php or mysql.

Now I want to copy this website as a test one(using another port) in the same machine. And I do not want to use virtual host.
