http://ubuntuforums.org – Howdy everyone! Firstly sorry as always if this isn't the right place to be posting this but I couldn't find anywhere more suitable (although admittedly I'm very tired). After installing Karmic and remembering how much of a pain it is to reinstall and reconfigure everything after an upgrade, I've decided it's about time I pulled my finger out and made a separate home partition by resizing my hard disk. There are plenty of guides out there but I've been looking particularly at this one as I've now already dumped some stuff back on to my disk and don't want to fresh install again: http://embraceubuntu.com/2006/01/29/...own-partition/ Since I've never done this before and Karmic's brand new, I just wanted to know if there's anything I should be aware of or if anybody can give me any pointers (I've already made a backup of FSTAB just incase). Thanks all :D (Hardware)
