[ubuntu] issues connecting to wireless networks

http://ubuntuforums.org – Hi everyone, So, here's my problem, as best as I can describe it: I have a D-Link Wireless Receiver plugged into my desktop computer, and I'm trying to access wireless internet. I followed the procedure at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Wi...er/Ndiswrapper to install and then load the drivers. I ran iwconfig in a terminal, and then my wireless worked. I had just recently installed Ubuntu 9.04 on my computer (about 2 days ago) and so when I finally got online, I had alot of updates it wanted to download. I allowed it to update, and let it run overnight. When I got back on this morning, my internet connection was lost. I tried restarting and reloading the drivers, but nothing seems to work. I'm not sure what other info I might need to give, so let me know if I need to provide more info. Also, I'm very new at Linux, so please forgive me if I don't understand what you're telling me to do :) Thanks so much for your help! (HowTos)
