I've tried a lot of things before posting here, but none have worked.
This is my problem: I tried to play TF2, but the colors were wrong (blue screen with some other colors dispersed, I could tell that game itself worked only graphics were messed up).
I need the right drivers for my card.
Hello, due to lack of support, i've given up on pclinux and I will be switching to Ubuntu. I've downloaded the ISO and will be burning the cd to install shortly.
My problem is I just don't understand how to get my graphics card drivers installed, (as well as my printer or wifi). I've been searching the forums here for solutions but haven't found one yet.
I just don't know how to name this thread to describe this problem.
I have a laptop dell vostro 3550 (2 graphic card: Intel HD 3000 and ATI HD 6630) on which I installed ubuntu 11.04 (32bits) and i can use unity desktop environment on the first boot.
When the Additional Drivers told me to activate ATI drivers, I click on activate and after that restarted the laptop.
Hello #!-ers,I am running Crunchbang-9.04 on a new Asus U45JC laptop (Intel Core i5 CPU M 460 @ 2.53GHz). This laptop is one of those hybrid graphics setups with an Intel i915 onboard and a Nvidia card.

I have a Lenovo Thinkpad T500 with switchable graphics cards, dual-booting Vista and 9.04. One is an ATI "Mobility Radeon HD 3650", and the other is an Intel "Mobile 4 Series," according to lspci. I've been having problems with the laptop getting awfully hot and having poor battery life.
Hello,
I am using a Sony VPCZ11X9E with an NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M and an Intel Graphics card.
My laptop used to have almost no BIOS options that made Fedora's job difficult and I had to use acpi_call.
Now that I flashed a new BIOS I am able to choose which card I want to use before the OS boots. Then the OS will "see" only the card I want and nothing else.
And so it happened.
