I have been using Truecrypt for a number of years and would like to continue now that I'm using Ubuntu.
I appear to be unable to install a version of Truecrypt in Ubuntu - can anyone help me please?
Or say it cannot be run in Linux?
This simple tutorial is going to show you how to install TrueCrypt in Ubuntu. TrueCrypt is a program used to create encrypted partitions or virtual encrypted disks. It is recommended for advanced users only.
1. Hit Ctrl+Alt+T to launch a terminal window.
Hi everybody!Yesterday I wanted to get the current version of TrueCrypt from the CCR installed, but somehow I always ran into the same error. Whether it was ccr or manual running makepkg the error was the same.I'm running chakra64 with an up to date system. Does anybody know how to fix the error below or is it a bug with truecrypt itself?
I was trying to use truecrypt the other day. I downloaded and extracted the zip, and ran the installer. I just extracted the file, and did not install it. I then tried executing it, and apparently it does not exist.
First I just double clicked the file from thunar (xfce4 file manager), and it told me the file did not exist.
I've installed Truecrypt 7.1a on #! and i want it to open like a program, but I can't find it, and when I type truecrypt into terminal it gives me a bunch of truecrypt sub commands that i don't know how to work well. Plus, when I plug in my Hidden Volume #! doesn't recognize anything at all.
Having some issues with Truecrypt and it's installation on 13.04 . I have downloaded the files that I need and have extracted them to get the truecrypt-7.1a-setup-x86 file which is referred to in all the setup guides. however I can't seem to use the Run command for this file, it only opens in emacs console and I don't know what to do from there.
