[ubuntu] Installed ubuntu side by side by side with win 7, can't find windows

http://ubuntuforums.org – So, I installed the newest Ubuntu from live usb choosing the side by side option. Now I can only boot to ubuntu and can't access or even find anything related to windows. Booting and spamming shift not helpful. i just installed dual boot ubuntu and w7 but whn it booting error file not found on my desktop i do search on google but dodn't find the solution worked and heres my bootinfoscript Boot Info Script 0.61 [1 April 2012]

I cannot boot into Linux or Windows now.

I did the boot repair but every time I turn my computer on it goes to Windows then into recovery mode and I went through that and it still brings me back.

I can only get in Ubuntu through the live disc.

I am unable to shutdown. Whenever I try to shutdown, it reboots. I am running Ubuntu 12.10.

I'm running Ubuntu 11.04 and it refuses to boot. I tried to use a boot repair disk, but no luck I'll paste the info from the boot repair below:

i have problem with dual booting windows and ubuntu... i had windows 7 then i installed ubuntu 12.4. ubuntu installed side by side windows and everything worked just fine..

then i decide to install ubuntu 12.10. i didn't upgrade it from update manager .

Hi guys i've just update my ubuntu to 12.04. But I can't reboot since grub says "no such partition".

My Wubi install no longer boots and seems to be missing. I cannot remove it or reinstall.

Hello guys,

I am a windows 7 (64 bit) user and wanted to try out Ubuntu on my laptop.

I downloaded Ubuntu Desktop 12.04LTS (64 bit) on my USB and and followed http://www.ubuntu.com/download/help/...ick-on-windows to create a bootable USB stick.

I have 3 partitions on my HD: Windows, Ubuntu 12.10 (just installed), & Swap. When I boot the computer into Ubuntu, the side bar shows the Windows partition as mounted and it appears as a "folder" in the list of other folders in "File System". I would like the boot to NOT mount Windows, and to have Windows shown in the Side bar (as it did in Ubuntu 10.04 LTS as "OS").
