I have been using Ubuntu since 7.04. It is really an amazing experience. I have some 8.10 machines which I use for my students and i don't want to change it right now to different version. On the other hands I want to install USB Modem (Tata Photon+) on Ubuntu 8.10. I have seen its working fine on Ubuntu 9.04 and even better with Ubuntu 10.04.
I have Tata Photon + 'Huawei EC152 CDMA 1X HSIA USB STICK MODEM', that i need to install on my UBUNTU 12.04 LTS 64 BIT. Plz guide me the process for its installation to access internet. Thanks . Eagerly waiting for the solutions. :)
I recently upgraded from Tata Photon+ to Tata Docomo Photon 3G, however Ubuntu is not recognizing the device itself. I tried manually adding the device in Mobile Broadband section, using different APNs and Service provider names as suggested in few earlier questions. The device is ZTE MF 190 (hsupa).
What do i do?
Earlier I was working on 10.04 and google helped me in working of tata photon plus, model EC1260.
Recently, I installed 12.04 LTS version on my DELL laptop. And not it is not working anymore. I did google and tried couples of things, but all in vain.
I am trying hard installing Tata Photon+ on my ubuntu 11.04. But it is giving me error that "installing NDIS driver failed". Below is my Terminal with all the commands and the errors... Please help me out..
