I have a cruzer U3 flash drive that is not mounting, I can remember a time when it did mount, not to long ago, and I do not recall editing any settings that might have interfered with it.
I attached the error that pops up when I insert the flash drive, as well as my /etc/fstab file.
Quote:
# /etc/fstab: static file system information.
The attachment is merely to show its presence and condition. However when I go to nautilus I see no proof of it being recognized.
Either point me to article or detail steps to format drive, mount, permission etc.
Thanking you again for your assistance
Hi all,
I am new in Ubuntu and I have seen that Ubuntu didn't install my graphics driver when it's set up. I searched for Internet and it recommended me to add a source link through Ubuntu Software Center.(http://ppa.launchpad.net/xorg-edgers/ppa/ubuntu)
After adding it update manager has detected some but gives an error(Attachment 1).

When I attempt to access one of my drives it is giving me an error (see screenshot for details). This started occurring once I booted into Windows on another drive. Ubuntu is my primary OS and I don't know if Windows corrupted something when mounting the drive or not but I can access it just fine in Windows and was able to access it in Ubuntu prior to booting into Windows. Thank you!

Hi all,
I own a T61 and I recently installed a new hard drive.
Sometimes when I boot into Ubuntu it crashes before the actual OS loads. I have no idea if it's the new drive, or maybe a bad installation of ubuntu and I'm not even sure how to diagnose it.
A while ago I downloaded a file and installed it. It wasn't what I thought it was and I guess it tried to install OpenSUSE 11.1. I have Windows 7 and when I try to start my computer I get an error 17. Usually I could just press F8 and boot windows but the error message comes up before that happens.
