Ubuntu install after Vista Removal

http://askubuntu.com – I had a dual boot XP Pro/Vista machine. I had to have Vista for work, now I don't. Now I want to install Ubuntu. I removed Vista and get a boot.ini error. I am working on getting rid of that, but after installing Ubuntu, it does not even show up as a boot option. I can see the install files on the HDD, however I am not even able to see any type of boot option in EBCD. Any Ideas? (HowTos)
