I've just bought a new desktop and installed Ubuntu 12.10 on it. My old desktop has Ubuntu 12.04 with Evolution as the mail client. As Evolution is no longer supported on 12.10 I'm trying to get my Inbox and Sent Items from Evolution onto my new computer such that Thunderbird can read them.
Using the default mail app on my S3 I am not seeing a complete list of all my folders in my Rogers/Yahoo email address.
I can see all the folders when I attach my Hotmail or Gmail accounts but not with my Rogers/Yahoo accounts.
I am using Windows Live Mail for years, but decided to use Thunderbird. I use my mail clients with POP3 connection. I can import my WLM messages into Thunderbird via Import Export Tools and imported all mesages into specified folder or hierarchical folders from WLM succesfully.
I have around 300 email users on a server which performs just fine - no complaints from anyone, except for one user who has 1,768 mail folders in his main account. He says that he is experiencing frequent timeouts while using Thunderbird, but that his iOS clients don't experience problems. He wants to know if there's some IMAP configuration change I can make that would make Thunderbird happier.
