I have a Netgear wireless USB adapter (WN111v2), and i cannot get it to work on my ubuntu version 9.04. Could anyone please help me with it, or at least point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Well I've been struggling to set up my Netgear wn111v2 wireless USB card for days and I believe I am close to finishing; under system>administrator> I can find 'windows wireless drivers,' and I put in two different drivers that I downloaded from another post, one of them being bean197 and another poster I can't quite remember.

I'm trying to get my netgear n300 for linux, I tried with the CD but ofcourse it didn't work. Saw some previous threads but I didn't really understand them, if anyone could give me link to some guide or some example or something.
I have 14.04 and the wireless adapter keeps losing connection. The wifi adapter is Netgear WN111v2. It loses connection few times every 10 minutes while plugged into USB slots. Sometimes it will not reconnect and I have to reboot computer. How to fix?

Please help as I want to stay with Ubuntu, but I need the USB adapter to work
