Hi There ;
I am searching for the IDE that can compile and debug a NASM code. I am using ubuntu 10.04 and I can make compile via terminal but I must view registers for educational purposes. Is there any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
I have a clean, fresh OS of Ubuntu 12.04 on my VPS. My goal is to install WordPress. I want to install the latest version of Apache (2.4.3) but I'm encountering two problems.
I'm following instructions like this & this. Both produced the same errors.
I Am using a broadband internet connection from local server. i insatalled ubuntu 11.10 yesterday bt i could not configure my internet connection. like i used 10.04 before. it was easy to configure and connect to internet. generelly i used dsl settings to configure my net. there i write down my user name, my connectors name and password to connect witd net. bt now in 11.10 its not working.
I want to build the latest stable version of apache2.
I downloaded the source and put APR & APR-util in the srclib folder, then changed directories to ./srclib/apr and ran:
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/apr
sudo make
sudo make install
This seemed to install APR ok, but when I run ./configure from the apr-util directory, I receive the error:
configure: error: APR could not be located.
I want to configure bind9 to be a local DNS only with no internet access at all. So I have 5 PCs in my virtual domain xy.com. Within this domain there is no access to the internet.
I am running a Ubuntu 11.10 virtual machine under KVM hypervisor, bridged and connected to the local network. I installed VNCServer in the virtual machine and tried remote desktop, What happens is when i remotely connect to the virtual machine (through VNC i used to add the :1 tag), the desktop is greyed out and i can access only the terminal (Pressing Ctrl+Alt+T in desktop).
Hello everyone, I'm -fairly- new to Ubuntu and the Linux distro's themselves, and I recently swapped over because of a faulty Windows HDD (don't ask). When I try to run Windows 7 on VirtualBox, I can get logged in and everything, everything works except for the Internet. It only shows me a LAN connection that has network access but no Internet access. Can anyone help me?
