I got the 64 bit version of the latest Ubuntu and I have a built-in webcam for my HP Laptop and the
drivers ubuntu put with it made the picture very choppy. I instead switched over to my Microsoft
LifeCam VX-3000 and it also assigned it crap drivers which make the video colors off like a red/purple
tint. Is there a fix for this at all?
I have been googling around but can't seem to answer this question. Where do I find the windows drivers (c++) for the macbook built-in webcam. Does anybody know where I can find c++ drivers for the macbook built-in webcam? Basically I need to be able to write software that can see what the camera sees.
Hi, I have a Dell Inspiron n7110 with a Integrated 1280x720 native HD Webcam. I run unbuntu version Ubuntu 12.04 My built in webcam is not working I have tried installing cheese and camorama and it still is not working. I have no idea why and can not find any threads or helps that can solve my problem. Can anyone help me?
I'm running 12.04 on a Pavilion dv7 and my HP TrueVision webcam is not being detected at all. Not in Skype, not in Cheese, not in any of the options in the properties window that comes up when I run 'gstreamer-properties'. Of course, since my mic is through the webcam (at least I'm sure it is) it is not working either.
I'm running the latest version of Ubuntu, and I have a Dell Sp2009wfd monitor with built in microphone and webcam. I've gotten the microphone working on mumble and on sound recorder, and I've gotten the webcam to work on Cheese...but it WON'T work through the flash player//website webcam things. I -have- the flash plugin, and I have drivers installed for my video card.
I recently got myself a new HP Pavilion dm4-2102eo with a built-in Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1030 WiFi adapter. After messing a bit around with the partitions on the hard drive, I finally got to install the latest version of Ubuntu (12.04), now running a dualboot setup with the pre-installed Windows 7 (using GRUB).
i have a problem with my vaio fz-21e. a few months ago i installed on it ubutnu 8.10, after installing everything was working perfectly except the ricoh integrated webcam. after some researchs on internet i figured out that the problem concerned the drivers but after some trys i solved the problem.
