I've an HP LaserJet Professional p1606dn printer which had built-in Auto-Off/Auto-On power saving tech.To be honest, this feature annoys me to no end; not in the least because the drivers sometimes don't load correctly when the printer starts back up. This necessitates a restart to make it work properly again.
Hi guys. I am currently using CrunchBang 10. I can print without any problems in color, but I usually prefer to print in Greyscale and this is when the problems start. My printer is HP Deskjet 845c. My hpcups version is hpcups 3.12.6. The error in the info of the printer is "/usr/lib/cups/filter/hpcups failed". I add a bug report so you can help me.
Hi I'm using a thermal printer tm-t20 at Ubuntu 12.04 x64.
With cups 1.5.3-0ubuntu4 and the epson provided drivers tmt-cups-1.3.2.
The printer just prints garbage after the first print. If I turn it off and then on, it prints ok (the first Job), but if I send another job it prints just garbage.
I just installed OpenSuse on my machine which had Windows. Everything works except my printer/scanner. I don't really need the scanner, but I absolutely must be able to print. It's a Lexmark x2500. OpenPrinting.org suggests using the pbm2l2030 filter. I've set this up with the printer configuration in Yast, and I have to manually select the driver.
