I recently set up a Debian 7 file server using Samba to share files with our Windows PCs. I installed and configured snapshots and set it up so Windows clients can right click a shared folder on the Samba server and see "Previous Versions". This is all working great from perhaps a dozen or more Win 7 PCs.

Not sure of how to enter address string, and everything I've tried so far has failed. Its basically setup to be open - with no groups, or users defined.
After fresh install of Ubuntu 14.04 I had some trouble with my Samba shares, and tried to reinstall samba as per this thread. Now the share folder to network context menu is gone. No tab for Network share, when selecting a folder -> Properties.
How can I get it back?
