It's there, staring me in the face, refusing to relinquish space to my small display. I HATE IT!!!
I want it to hide except when I want it to show (autohide).
HOW can I do this?

I recently purchased ezpdf for my Samsung Galaxy Android phone. It looks great but for the annotations menu. It takes up considerable screen on my small phone screen and I want to hide it. Is there a way to hide it? I don't find any option to hide the same
I am trying to run an application in fullscreen mode, and its just this application that will be displaying various info on the screen. Therefore I want to hide everything else. I can hide the Launcher, but how do I hide the top menu bar at the very top of the screen.
I have found many posts giving direction/information on how to change the mode of operation for the top menu bar working like a MAC on the unity display,.. so that menu options are brought within each window app.
This however does not address my question, which is how to I hide,.. or bring front the mythtv window,.. so that the menu bar is not visible on the myth display,..
What I am looking for is a way to place small blocks on the screen in order to hide information from myself while using lubuntu. They would need to stay on top of everything else at all times but i don't need to interact with the hidden part of the display.
