[ubuntu] How to determine installed video driver (re: Intel GMA 965)

http://ubuntuforums.org – Hey everyone! I am pretty good with computers as far as windows goes, but am brand new to the world of linux. I just installed Ubuntu 8.10, and mostly everything is going fine, but I have a few questions. In windows, I was able to open up device manager to see which device driver I was using for each hardware component, and I could uninstall/reinstall/etc. from there. 1) Is there a similar way to do this in ubuntu/linux? 2) Does the appropriate video driver get installed automatically with the installation of ubuntu? I've got a Toshiba u400 laptop with intel gma 965 graphics, and want to make sure that it is configured properly (for dual display/hdmi out/Open GL). If anyone can enlighten me step by step I would really appreciate it. I am keen on getting my system running properly and learning more about linux... Cheers (Hardware)
