Recently I bought a huawei e303c modem . It works perfectly in windows 7. While using in Ubuntu it is not detected or recognised even after installing drivers successfully. Hy. Sorry for my english. I have a problem with ubuntu 9.10 x32. I have a canon multifunctional printer mp190 and ubuntu does not have drivers for it . And the biggest problem is with my usb modem from vodafone: huawei K3765, ubuntu does not detect it. I have a second modem huawei e220 from orange but ubuntu has detected and is working properly.
I have an Acer Aspire 4736Z running Ubuntu 9.10 dual boot with Windows XP (for work). Ubuntu recongnizes the modem but it won't connect. I've searched the Linux forums for help but most are too technical for me. I've been using Ubuntu for about 3 years now, but haven't really gotten into scripting and making changes to configuration files.
