[ubuntu] How can I get back uninstall draftSight

http://ubuntuforums.org – I install draftSight which found in Synaptic and in Ubuntu Software Centre to try and after while I uninstall to try LibreCad, now I want to reinstall draftSight cant find neither in Synaptic nor Ubuntu Software Centre. How do I get the same package, I think the package was free that come with Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. (Hardware)

Hello guys,

I'm looking over for solution of my problem, can't find anything on Google... I installed DraftSight on ubuntu 11,04 and everything seems fine except the cursor moving in "Model" window only. It doesn't moves smoothly like everywhere else, it moves with jerky jumps, much like Snap tool is enabled, which actually isn't enabled.

Can anyone help please. Thank you guys...

Every time I add a ppa I cannot see the package I'm trying to install. I suppose I must be doing something wrong! So here's my latest effort: in a Terminal I typed:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:jeromerobert/misc

and that seemed to work correctly Then I typed:

sudo apt-get update

But when I go to Synaptic or Software Centre the application I want to install is not there.

Is it possible to install ductilcad with draftsight? Is there any other program with pipe acessóries (like ductilcad) that is compatible with darftsight?

Whenever i try to install software from software centre, it says package dependencies cannot be resolved. I have tried restarting, sudo apt-get update/upgrade/clean. I am very new to ubuntu, and I need to install java. I also tried restarting my computer. Should i just reinstall ubuntu?

When Canonical started developing the Ubuntu Software Center, I knew that a time will come when it will completely replace Synaptic.
