Is there a "native" Windows way to prevent users from accidentally moving folders and files due to accidental "drag-and-drop"?
Because of the default of a 4-pixel movement needed to trigger a drag-and-drop event during a mouse button being pressed, a slight jerk while clicking on a folder or file icon can easily cause an unintended drag-and-drop event.
I'd like to be able to disable drag and drop moving of folders in the folder pane, as it's much too easy to do so accidentally. I've found a couple of macros/plugins that purport to do this, but they don't seem to work. Has anyone found a workable solution to this? MS support is of zero use :(
