Hi
When I plug certain USB devices into my computer, they get 'disabled' for a while, before returning to normal operation. They get disabled every time I use them with Ubuntu on my Dell Inspiron 15R. After being disabled, they will not work on any other computers for a period of time.
Hello,
I have a problem with a new usb flash drive. As soon as I plug it in, my system freezes. Switching to the terminal doesn't work, not even using SysRQ keys.
The usb flash drive is a "Verbatim USB Drive 2.0 Executive 8 GB Highspeed". It works using previous kernels without a problem.
Does anyone have an idea what to do?
I have wireless keyboard, wireless mouse and razer deathadder connected via usb. Keyboard working in BIOS but when Ubuntu starts I can't do anything on any of my devices. It seems that Ubuntu shuts power down(when Ubuntu is starting my mouse led shut down) this devices. To get this to work I have to wait 10~ mins. How to fix it?
Buyers of LTE devices will have to take a punt on which countries they want to use the devices in because fragmentation of spectrum allocations will make it almost impossible to build devices that will work anywhere.
I need to list existing USB hub and the devices connected in the hub using my C++ program.
I can able to print the USB Hub and devices connected in hub from terminal using the commands
lsusb
lsusb -v
I want to use that feature in my C++ program.
How I can do this programmatically. Is there any C++ classes available to use in my Qt application.
I mentioned this deep in a different thread but I think it might help to have this in a thread of its own. I've been noticing that 3.7.x kernels in general in Fedora have a problem detecting the existence or insertion and removal of usb devices.
For example in 3.7.6 on my laptop using KDE, I tend to have a frozen optical mouse when I log into KDE.
I got 2 problems with my USB drive and I badly need a solution asap for these plz help me out.
My usb devices run very slow in ubuntu.Though I have 1.1 ports on my laptop, I used to get speed of 20-25 mbps for my seagate usb hardisk while using windows.
Had Jaunty running, and needed a serial port. Added an Edgeport/22c USB to serial port convertor. lsusb showed the device OK (Inside Out Networks device), but neither of the two serial ports on this device ever showed up in /dev as /dev/ttyUSB0 or /devUSB1.
I'm finishing my application and got to test in various devices. I have tested into Galaxy SIII running 4.0.x and 4.1.x versions, and with some 2.3.3+ devices (I have heavily tested into 2.3.x devices, because on my mind, the bugs was to appear more into OLD devices).
My problem comes with Sony Xperia U.
