http://ubuntuforums.org – hi guys i had one question. me currently dual booting vista and ubuntu, i just hate vista. my question is: how can i boot my ext hard disk? its i 40gb, very old hard disk, very slow also lol.... and since some time it wont boot. vista just crashes (damn vista!) but on ubuntu i get some message.. saying it cant mount. i m not sure if its a virus or some error on the hd itself... it says "DBus error org.gtk.Private.RemoteVolumeMonitor.Failed:", and then for a long report this whole thing comes..anyone know how i can mount it, even if forcefully i dnt care, or at least format it so that i can boot it? vista just crashes, so i cant do anything. i dnt rember having anything important on it... i just want to be able to use it again. or at least is it possible of formatting it somehow..even with terminal or sth lol thanks in advance =) tassilo (Hardware)
