hi there,

I am using a Radeon HD 5750 Graphics card
How might I confirm which driver is being used for my graphics card?
I've recently been having some graphics trouble with Wine, and, in attempting to resolve it, I realised that I don't actually have confirmation that the graphics driver that I intend to be in use is actually the one being loaded.
The intended driver should be installed, but I'm not confident that it's actually being used instea
So here's the problem. I have a rather old laptop, bought it in 2007. It's an Acer Aspire 5100-5023 if that means anything to anyone. It has an integrated graphics card, ATI Radeon Xpress 1100. ATI (I guess AMD now) no longer provides legacy support for this card.
Now I have Ubuntu 12.10. It has xorg 1.13. Unity wont run correctly with out that version of xorg.
Hi,
I downloaded and installed OpenSUSE 11.2 but only screen I see is console, SUSE won't even open.
I assume that is an error of graphics card (ATI Mobility Radeon HD3650) or Processor (Intel Centrino 2)
The error says that there is niether internet connection nor a driver for graphics card.
Hi I have an Ati 4350 graphics card, and i usually use envy-ng to install my graphics card drivers but it has failed me for the first time, any ideas on how I can setup my graphics card for 3d acceleration, running 8.04.
Basically I have a problem In that my computer doesn't recognise I have a graphics card. When I turn it on it says I need to run in low graphics mode but won't go beyond that. Now I can access s terminal of sorts and think I have mostly fixed it however I need to install my graphics driver and I don't know how. The card is an intel mobile gm965 integrated.
Hi guys!
I have a Dell Studio 1535 notebook, which has a Mobility Radeon HD3450 graphics card in it. The problem is, that immediately after I install the ATI/AMD propietary FGLRX graphics driver, the screen brightness will be set up automatically to 100% after each reboot.
