Ubuntu, good! Windows, bad!

http://ubuntuforums.org – I think my last post here was a "cya later Ubuntu, it's been fun!". I abandoned Ubuntu for several reasons, one of the main reasons was I couldn't get dual monitors working without one of them exhibiting tearing. Some months on, I'm back! And here's why: My wife was kind enough to buy be a band spankin' new laptop for Christmas (the Samsung Chronos series 7 - a.k.a NP700Z7C-S02UK). It came pre-loaded with Windows 8.
