I'm experiencing some problems with Ubuntu Gnome Remix 12.10 64bits.
My gnome-tweak-tool doesn't apply themes properly. For the gkt themes, I noted that they are not fully applied. For example, I select Elementary's gtk theme and the window's border (metacity?) still with Adwaita. The theme also looks weird, what led me to believe that there was some engine missing, but that wasn't the case.
As the title implies, I'm on Ubuntu Gnome Shell Remix 12.10 and not able to change the window theme for themes I have downloaded. In the tweak-tool, I am able to set the GTK theme to a theme I have downloaded, but it does not work with that theme's respective window border.
reNIX is a beautiful GTK3 theme inspired by Android. The theme is compatible with latest Unity and Gnome Shell and comes with a squared metacity theme.

Hello everyone.
Sorry if a thread like this was already started and/or answered but google and forum search haven't been kind to me.
After installing the gnone-tweak-tool and playing around with the window themes it offered none of them were really what i was looking for.
Can someone please point me in the right direction of where to get additional window themes and or shell themes.
Hi, I installed a bunch of gnome 3 themes in Fedora 17 via yum, but they aren't showing anywhere when I start gnome-tweak-tool.
Why is this broken?
these are the themes:
yum install zukitwo-gtk3-theme adwaita-gtk3-theme albatross-gtk3-theme bluebird-gtk3-theme egtk-gtk3-theme greybird-gtk3-theme light-gtk3-theme zukini-gtk3-theme zukiwi-gtk3-theme

OK so thanks to the people here at ubuntu forums I now have the capability to change my Gnome shell user themes. I found one that I would like to install here:
http://gnome-look.org/content/show.p...content=153927
I was able to decompress the file, but when I try to change to this theme using advanced settings there does not appear to be a select-able file in the folder.
Half-left has designed yet another great theme for Gnome Shell. His latest theme is based on the look of Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin and it looks really beautiful.
