[ubuntu] Found fix for Logitech bluetooth keyboard

http://ubuntuforums.org – I've been having problems with Linux and my Logitech diNovo Edge bluetooth keyboard for years, and I've been reading about problems from a ton of other users. Finally found the solution here. Now I no longer get asked to pair my keyboard, as if it's a device that should need to be paired. It's such a simple fix. Why isn't it configured like this in the first place? Also, how do I make this permanent? The hid2hci.rules file says not to edit it because it will be overwritten by updates. (Hardware)

I know there are problems (and have been for quite some time) with the diNovo Edge keyboard. The solution could be found easily and often you can use the on-screen keyboard to fix it.

I had succeeded in pairing my Logitech DiNovo Edge w/ my laptop (running Jaunty 64), first time. I had not used the Logitech dongle.

But today, the pairing was lost. I tried to do it again, with no luck. At present I'm using the keyboard with the dongle, but that is not 100% satisfactory.

I upgraded from 12.04 to 12.10 on my desktop. My bluetooth dongle does not get detected after the upgrade, which was working fine before.

I tried another dongle of another brand and that works. But I want to use the old one as that is good quality one that comes with Logitech DiNovo keyboard.

I have a logitech PS3 keyboard I'm using for my media center, and recently I've noticed a battery icon in my system tray. Upon further inspection, I found that the device is reported as a battery_hid_00o1Fo20o1Bo3Ao11_battery and the Model is a Logitech Cordless MediaBoard Pro.

Looking to find a nice bluetooth mouse and keyboard to use with my Note 10.1 but also want to use it with my Galaxy S3 if i need to and my laptop. Anyone have any recommendations. I know about the New Trent iShuffle with the built in trackpad but I'd rather use a mouse for more precision and better control.

I purchased a logitech for android bluetooth keyboard with stand, and a microsoft wedge touch mouse (which is epic) and i am having a problem

basically when i have the keyboard attached by itself it work fine, but when i connect the mouse to the bluetooth in the device to keyboard 'jams' on a certain key, like AAAAAAAAAAAAA...but over and over, i was wondering if anyone has either had the same
