http://ubuntuforums.org – Hi Ubuntu Community: I'm still using Lucid 10.04, but have experimented with Unity and Gnome 3 on an old machine. I was wondering whether Gnome3 will allow the personal type of customizaton that Gnome 2 allowed. For example, remember "eyes" that goofy set of eyes that you could add t the panel? Will we be able to add "eyes" someplace on the Gnome 3 desktop? :shock: Also, will we be able to add applets somplace on the desktop (like "Weather Report")? :redface: Thanks! Phil (Hardware)
