[ubuntu] Execute executables automatically

view story

http://ubuntuforums.org – Hi, I've created a small C++ application using Code::Blocks. I've run the program from codeblocks and I've run it using the terminal, and it works fine. But when I click on the executable (that is automatically created by codeblocks in the specified folder), nothing happens. Also, I've copied all the required files to the location where the executable is present. All I want is it to open in the terminal (or in any other console) when I double-click the executable. Is there any way to make this possible? Thanks and regards, Aashish (Hardware)
