I am having issues trying to turn on my wireless card.
I am trying to crack my WEP key for some days now, and after reading a number of tutorials, I find myself stuck on the same spot all the time.
My wireless adapter chipset is the RTL8188CE, and my system runs ubuntu 11.10. I ran the aircrack-ng.org injection test and everything ran ok, showing me that my card is enabled for injection.
So I follow the aircrack-ng newbie tutorial.
Hey,
I am trying to connect to a WEP encrypted WLAN without using the DHCP server of the AP.
I have an HP g60 running a vanilla Maverick installation, and the wifi has cease working. I've tried booting while pressing the switch and various other combinations of switch presses, but nothing is seeming to work.
After much research, I have found the solution to my intermittent wireless problem!
