Hi,
I'm running Fedora 17 64bit on an intel computer and have just had to replace my printer, I bought an Epson Stylus S22 and am having problems.
I got the printer today and just plugged it in (it's a simple USB only priter) and it was auto detected (i believe the driver was listed as "Epson Stylus S21 - CUPS+Gutenprint v5.2.9 Simplified") however all of the prints had the bottom
Hello,
I configured my printer via YaST (Suse 11.3). YaST finds my printer and offers me the Gutenprint driver:
Epson Stylus D120 with driver Epson Stylus D120 - CUPS+Gutenprint v5.2.4
I selected this driver and finished the configuration.
The problem now is, that if I print something, the printer only prints a totally black page.
This is hard for me to admit this; however, I need some help.
I have cups and samba set up on an old laptop as a printer server. The printer is an Epson Stylus NX215. The laptop is running Xubuntu 12.04.
My Linux computers can print to it without any problems.
I can connect to the laptop and add the printer in both Windows 7 and Vista.
Hello,
Ever since I switched to Ubuntu 12.04 the scanner on my Epson Stylus NX230 won't work. At the same time I started running lUbutntu because the regular version is too fancy for my crappy old computer. The scanner used to work when I had whatever version I had before, but now when I try to scan an image using either Scanner Utility or Simple Scan it says no scanner is connected.
Hi all. I'd appreciate any help making my printer work. When I print a test page or a text file, nothing is printed. The job appears in the print status list and the stays there forever.
Download the printer driver for Epson Stylus NX515 multifunction printer series. This is the Epson Stylus NX515 driver version 6.62 for Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 32bit. This file contains the Epson Stylus NX510 Series Printer Driver v6.62. The Epson Status Monitor 3 is incorporated into this driver.
First off, The reason I like gutenprint better than any other I have tried, is that for this printer, gutenprint's driver offered the most options for print quality settings and things like this.
Also....I am using Debian 5.04 and Gnome but this should be very similar for Ubuntu
This is what worked VERY well for me:
I have a EPSON Epson Stylus Office BX305 Plus printer
and i want to scan some documents but i can't scan them via usb or network?
I got it to work under windows via a driver I downloaded but in Ubuntu i can't get
it to work. i installed the driver via system-config-printer (1.3.8).
Hey,
I have an Epson Stylus Photo PX710W. It worked fine in opensuse 11.2, but I've now done a fresh install of opensuse 11.3 and I can't get the printer to work. I set it up as for 11.2, so I'm sure it should just work.
CUPS job page says:
