I have a Gateway notebook and installed Vista on it (successfully), but cannot get my new Ubuntu 10.4 installation to connect with the internet wirelessly. I can get a list of routers (on the triangular button) and it tries its hardest to connect, but without result. The "Additional Drivers" installed with the Ubuntu 10.4 system -- located in "Applications" -- is corrupted so is of no help.

Hi all,
I use kmail in kubuntu 8.04. Whenever I have a wired connection, kmail checks email and sends messages just fine. However, any time I switch to wireless, kmail just says "No new messages," without even checking. I am also unable to send email over wireless.
I've tried searching the internet for people with similar problems, but to no avail.
Hello again, well someway or another my wireless problem was fixed back in July, but I still cannot connect to the internet wirelessly. Every time I try to get on Firefox on Ubuntu 10.04(Lucid Lynx) 32-bit. My laptop simply won't connect even though I have a physical wireless connection. Is there something that I am not doing correctly to establish the connection to Firefox?
I have a client who has recently developed a problem with Outlook.
When attempting to send an email by clicking the send button, nothing happens. After a while, the email is saved to the Drafts folder, but nothing else, the email is not placed in the Outbox.
Clicking send and receive, gets any email from the server that is on there.

I have configured thunderbird (version 17) in Ubuntu 12.04 to use with my gmail account but the inbox folder only shows messages up to November 2011. Every time i click "get mail" it fetches about 5 days worth of email messages, so if I want to get thunderbird up to speed I have to repeat this process numerous times.
