I have a old laptop here model Fujtisu Siemens Amilo Pro V2040 and have no real problems aside from the wireless.
It didn't work after installing and when I entered the BIOS and enabled wireless it then found my wireless and was able to connect to it but constantly prompts me for a password and will not load any pages.
I have been Using Ubuntu 9.04 on a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Li 2727 and I recently performed a fresh install with 9.10. When I use the "sudo modprobe acerhk" command to turn the wireless on, it says "FATAL: Module acerhk not found." I'm lost and finally realising this Fn+1 software for the wireless is a real pain.
I have a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo D 1840 laptop and i was wondering will ubuntu 12.04 run norally, once installed with wubi. I have a Intel Pentium 4 3.02 Ghz processor and 512 MB RAM, as mentioned in the title.
