While reading another thread I ran the xrandr command and got the following output. Why are DVI-1-0 and DVI-1-1 disconnected and my system is running on DVI-I-2 & 3?
If I bypass it, everything works and X likes giving me all the resolutions, but with it hooked up it maxes out at 1024x768 (Should be setting it to 1920x1080).$ xrandr -q

Today I was trying to connect my second monitor to my notebook.
I have a brand new ASUS N76 with newly installed 12.10.
HDMI port is not recognized by Ubuntu while working perfectly well with Windows 8.
xrandr does not even show as known connector :

xrandr or nvidia driver seems to be report the wrong display resolutions. Even though on boot my screens are at native resolution, all programs the query for available resolutions will only find up to 1024x768.
My video card is a gtx 680 and I'm using Fedora xfce spin 17.
