I have a HP 4540s laptop. The resolution provided by the inbuilt graphics driver is too low. Just 1366*768. Is there specialized graphics driver or something for installation.
I have recently installed ubuntu 13.04 in my laptop HP ProBook 4540s. After installing Ubnutu 13.04, I got problem while installing AMD Radeon graphics driver where my graphics is HD 7650M and intel HD graphics 4000. It says, it has very low graphcs and I can't do any thing after that. I have re-installed Ubuntu 13.04. Please help me to install graphics driver.
I have ATI 9100 IGP driver for my Ubuntu 10.10 laptop. I realized my graphics driver was not installed when I opened up a simple 3D RPG. My laptop should've been able to handle the low resolution 3D. So I've read tutorials online, and all that I ended up doing was messing up the graphics.

Hi I'm trying to use the Display configuration thing under system > preferences. When I click it it says: "It appears that your graphics driver does not support the necessary extensions to use this tool. Do you want to use your graphics driver vendor's tool instead?"
I upgraded from 13.10 to 14.04 last week and just wondered what Display Driver I should be using.
I have an NVIDIA GeForce 450 Graphics Card and am presently using X.Org X server-Nouveau display driver.
On a previous upgrade I tried using a NVIDIA Driver and had considerable problems.
Should I try the NVIDIA binary driver-Version 331.38 or should I stay with what I have?
