Install Bittorrent Sync on Debian / Ubuntu
BitTorrent Sync is a new piece of software by BitTorrent Inc. - the original creator of the BitTorrent protocol. While moste might be familiar with BitTorrent, only a few know of BitTorrent Sync. Normal .torrent files are static and once created they can't be altered anymore.
qBittorrent 2.5.2 is the latest version of the GUI BitTorrent client for Linux. This new version add some functionalities to this release. qBittorrent 2.5.2 is a good alternative to Transmission or Vuze. You can download torrent files using this qBittorrent.
I want to download an Ubuntu ISO, preferably over bittorrent, and verify its integrity.
Currently, the following steps are required:
start web browser, go to ubuntu.com, find download link
find gpg signature for the checksums
get the gpg key to check gpg signature of the checksums
wait until download finished
