Ubuntu doesn't boot normally after manual installing of X.org

http://askubuntu.com – I tried to compile and install X.org (for a single card/multiseat in this tutorial) by getting source from here and installing it by: ./configure --enable-kdrive --enable-xephyr --enable-xfake --enable-xfbdev --enable-kdrive-kbd --enable-kdrive-mouse --enable-kdrive-evdev --enable-glx-tls make sudo make install after this Ubuntu freezes in boot on the Ubuntu logo and doesn't boot up! Note: it boots in recovery mode and X starts by using startx from terminal (in recovery mode) ; it just doesn't start normally! I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 What is the problem? How can I fix it? (HowTos)

Hello when I do reboot or init 6 in console under ubuntu 12.04 my system does not start correctly. it freezes in startup process.

Wow can I enable the boot-messages instead of the splash-screen.

Is this still valid for ubuntu 12.04? How to enable boot messages to be printed on screen during boot up?

As the title above, I am totally new to Linux. What I have now is a virtual hardisk with ubuntu and it started up as CLI. What I want to do is enable the graphic mode and able to switch it flexibly.
