Hi,
I have recently bought a HP Envy DV7-7201 which had Windows 8 on it. I installed Ubuntu 12.04 alongside it and everything was fine at home. I could access the internet through my wireless router (RTA10235WE) using Ubuntu.
I am visiting family for the holidays who have a Vodafone EasyBox wireless router. Windows 8 connects to the router fine.

Hi
I have very basic network settings in my home. Cable connected to my Linksys Wireless G router. My wife and I connect to that using our laptop.
Yes. I did enable encryption to connect. Also my wireless printer is connected to that.
For some reason, last night around 12:30 AM, the printer acted like it was going to print. Then it didn't print any thing. Again it did that one hour later.
Hi,
I am using HP laptop with fedora 17. I use wireless network, when ever my Wireless router turnsoff fedora showing a popup message asking for Wireless network password and the popup will not close until I manually cancel it.
I am running Ubuntu 10.10 maverick netbook edition on my Dell Latitude D830. I am dual booting windows 7 and ubuntu and recently I bought a Cisco Linksys E2000 router. I set it up with a WPA/WPA2 mixed mode security and My friends are all able to connect to it with no problems. I've been running Ubuntu for a while now and i've never had wireless problems until now.
Maybe not a Ubuntu specific question, but I'm not sure.
I have a linksys wireless router (WRT160N). Connected wireless to the router is my laptop (running Ubuntu) and a wireless HP printer.
Hi
I have an IBM R51 laptop which I would like to run on ubuntu (as I'm currently running Maverick on my Desktop and like it very much)
I have run the liveCD and everything runs OK except for the wireless network, which although it detects my wireless network, will not let me connect.
I have just discovered for myself that I am able to make my computer is able to act like a router, by having computers connect to it wirelessly without a router, I'm guessing this is common knowledge but for people that don't know rleft click the wireless network button and create new wireless network.
