I've been running the live iso of 12.04 beta2 for several days and it seems to be running very smooth...I was wondering if it would be safe to install at this point?
Will it automatically become the final release if i do all the updates?
How many updates do you average each day for this? Do any bugs tend to get fixed in those updates?
Greetings!
I'm currently using a laptop as my computer for various reasons I'd rather not get into.
I have some related questions:
For 12.04 (and in general), are the beta releases more stable/less buggy than the daily builds?

Hi,
Just sharing my thoughts after installing openSUSE 11.2 GNOME on one of my laptops.
I've been using openSUSE on one of my laptops for quite a while now, but I had Ubuntu on my old laptop (which I just use for printing and I SSH to it).
I am currently using Ubuntu 11.10 and was planning to upgrade to 12.04 ....but as it is still in alpha stage...it might not be that usable ? Is it recommended to do an upgrade ?
Or should I wait for a stable build ?
Thanks :)
The Ubuntu Software Center is a utility for software management in Ubuntu.
Current versions allow easy finding and installing of software. In addition to that it supports software purchases, includes a recommendation features, and replace other tools such as apturl and gdebi.
Future version may allow replacing of APTonCD, and most of the Computer Janitor.
