I tried every single way.
I stopped "Google Photos", "Google+", "Instant Upload" from syncing.. Then deleted all "Gallery" data. Few seconds later, Picasa albums were there AGAIN!!
My contacts seem to have doubled up viz: Picasa Web Albums - Pete Cresswell - Misc.
Thankfully, the dupes do not seem to have penetrated my contact DB (i.e. they only show up when I bring up Phone | Contacts....
I am using picasa at the moment - running under wine.
I would prefer to use a native app but couldn't find one as good.
I still have Shotwell on my pc but the feature I would miss from picaso is

Basically you can create an account at picasa web site and share the same account details with family and then you can all upload your al
I have a local folder on my Mac that I want to sync with a WebDAV server.
There are a lot of files in my folder.
If you are Flickr users and need a special tool or software to directly upload photos into your Flickr account, you can use this jUploadr. This free tool is very easy to use and does not need an installation. Follow this simple steps to download and use the jUploader for Linux.
I want to sync photos from my phone to .. well I don't really care.. just somewhere in the cloud.. web accessible, and serving as a backup copy.

Hi all,
I've been working on a companion app for Ubuntu One. I like the way One works and find it really handy, but it doesn't appear to have the ability to sync files directly between peers. So, for example, let's say I have Ubuntu One running on my laptop, syncing files to the Ubuntu servers. That's good, but I also want to sync those files to a local server, or to my desktop.
I am system admin of a business network.
I am on a Windows xp client. When a user logs off, as natural, tries to sync changes with server. I notice that the directory is wrong. It tries to sync with \older-server-name\Home Directories. I checked static ip,Dns ip, domain which pc belongs, and all are ok. Any ideas?
I have a dns and an additional dns server both Windows server 2003 running.
