[ubuntu] Color Changing Backlit Keyboard Driver/Software for Bonobo Extreme (bonx6)

http://ubuntuforums.org – I'm confused and I'm hoping that someone can help straighten me out. So, I was looking at the keyboard on the Bonobo Extreme. The Bonobo Extreme appears to be based on the Clevo P370EM. According to every other Clevo reseller I've contacted, there is NO SUPPORT for programatically changing the color of the backlight beneath the keyboard under Linux. This only works with special software under Windows. According to the email I received from System 76 a few days ago, changing the color of the backlight DOES WORK under Linux. How is this possible? I sifted through the the system 76 d (Hardware)

Keyboard "Next" button color 15 weeks 4 days ago

I am trying to find out how to get the color of the Next button on an Android keyboard. It is being set by the OS because on the Kindle Fire it is orange and on the Nexus 7 it is blue.

Is there a system call to get that color?

I would like to use that color in other parts of my apps so it looks like the OS's.

hi, im on fedora 18 64 bit, using a satellite p850 laptop. any idea how to get a backlit keyboard working? it worked for a couple of days after i booted a live iso of fedora 19. the boot hung and i had to hard reboot after which it started working. after installing a windows 8 drive, booting and going back to my fedora drive my backlight no longer works. any ideas what is happening?

basically changing the color of the whole screen to white instead of the default black and changing font color to black and alos would like to try green

Something I did.... posting for share. What we have here are a few color theme mods to the auto-correction stock Samsung keyboard.

Is there a way to change touch keys backlight color if we aren't going to change the led lights?

My current conky config file looks like below and I find it pretty ugly.

hi guys, just wanna to ask. recently, i have ported paranoid cm9 xperia arc to xperia pro. now, backlight keyboard is not working. i think there are some missing files from paranoid rom. so, the main question is where the backlight keyboard files in /system ?. my base rom from cm9 nightly build 2012-9-4.
