How can i change the system icon for maya?
Because i now have a default window icon for maya and I want to change that for a custom icon.
It does not work changing the desktop icon or menu icon or launcher icon because it's not connected with the system icon.
I know it may sound dumb, but for some reason after finally figuring out how to do launchers and icon packs (feel like i've been trapped in a cave for years) i want to change the contacts icon on my phone to a rolodex type icon. I tried searching through the play store but nothing comes up with a specific icon, just the typical search results.
Rather recently, I've decided to add minecraft to my dock. I play it enough to want it on my dock. I created a .desktop file, and I gave it an icon, name, and such. I figured that point the exec at the .jar would be good enough, but apparently I am incorrect.
I have an app that I downloaded from the Play store and it's icon is very visually unappealing and I wanted to know if there is way to replace the default icon with one from an icon pack without a launcher. Like, can I permanently associate a new icon with the app I want to change? How can I do it?
Hi folks, this is the first thread I open in this forum. I was just wondering if there's a simple way to change the icon set, beyond installing a bunch like faenza for instance, which would mainly change things in the file explorer, the chrome icon and nothing more. What I want is to try to give the system a whole look with a good icon set (terminal, browsers, files, systray, etc.).
I installed a program (Netbeans 7.3) from the provider's website (netbeans.org), rather than from the software center (the copy in the software center is outdated and not as stable). For some reason, the program's icon is really pixelized. It shows up in the dash, the launcher, and the desktop normally, but the icon is ugly and annoying because of the really bad quality.
I have an application indicator which shows the moon phase/orientation as its icon (along with a text label). When the indicator does an update (several times per hour), the icon is recreated (as an SVG file) and so the icon will/does look different over time.
Recently, the icon is not showing any change unless I click the mouse on the icon (or label).
