I am trying to find out how to get Chinese language to work when I type on this phone.
I had went to Settings>>Language and input>> Samsung Keyboard and had ticked on Chinese.
However although this allows me
I know that I can start onBoard on-screen keyboard using Terminal command "onboard".
With my VirtualBox guest 12.04 Unity system I can use HUD, enter "onboard" then lock onBoard to the Launcher for future use. (Oooh that's nice!):)
Is there a way to launch it on my host Ubuntu 10.04 system without running a Terminal? :confused:

Just switch over from iPhone to Galaxy note 2, realized it has only english keyboard.

Unity-greeter crashes, and constantly respawns, not letting me in. So, I configured auto login but that won't start anything except Unity session. I changed the lightdm.conf file to run Xubuntu but Unity still shows up. If I create a new user, it will start in Xubuntu just fine.
onboard keyboard app no longer works in unity.

I've fallen in love with the Ubuntu onscreen keyboard Onboard, but since it's an Ubuntu project it's not available in the Debian reposI was wondering if there would be a way to get a build in the Crunchbang repos?

I want to install onboard (=fantastic virtual keyboard) on F17 (64 bit), works perfectly under ubuntu.
For some weird reason language settings have gone awry and the OS language changed for some random reason from English to Chinese/Japanese. (I do not have a slightest idea why; keyboard is Finnish/Scandinavic.)
Any help concerning how to switch the language setting back to English much appreciated!
