I ahve just re-installed Ubuntu 10.04 and have come across a problem. When I put the disc in and ran live it found and connected to my home wifi network, now it wont find it. It will find my neighbors networks just fine and the windows xp partition I have connects just fine.
I assume the wifi adapter is working fine, as like I said it will show my neighbors connections.
I dont know what i did but my Apache wont start..

I have set up an ubuntu server to run CoD servers. I have a script which lets me give a whole bunch of parameters / etc and start the server to that configuration.
As the CoD server requires a window, I installed xrdp and fluxbox for running them.
Currently the way the script works is that I have a screen terminal open on a xrdp session.
I've been trying to get a MythTV rig setup for days now and just keep running into one problem after the other and knocking them out one at a time by reading posts made by other people and I ran into a network problem and I got it figured out so I thought I would do my part my posting my fix.
Just installed Lubuntu last night on my netbook. Everything is running fine and working well, except the ALT+F2 run window will always pop up underneath the currently opened window (but above all other open windows).
I've recently installed Ubuntu 12.04 on a basic notebook with an i3 intel processor with 500 GB hard drive and 4 GB ram.
It seems like the installation went fine except for one weird issue. When I launch Firefox, it loads the Google start page (that's not the weird part.)
The odd thing is, it won't load any page other than the Google start page.
I'm having problems with my server. The server info is below. The problem I'm having it just started a few days ago after a server restart. I use in my php code

I'm also using Google recaptcha. The problem I'm having is when my server outbound connections run real slow. I don't timeout it just takes about 10 seconds to get a header request or to connect to google recaptcha.
