http://ubuntuforums.org – I'm running 10.04 My computer used to be registered with Ubuntu One (the free service). Now it's no longer registered with Ubuntu One because I deleted my machine from the list of my computers that uses it. There is NO Ubuntu one listed in the Accessories------>Passwords and Encryption keys. When trying to connect to U1 (keep in mind the computer I want to add to U1 isn't listed in the U1 Preferences and I can't add it. Any idea how to fix this? (Hardware)

I have a question to which I haven't been able to find an answer. I have two computers, both of which run Ubuntu 12.04. I keep one of my computers at home and use SSH to connect to it from the other ("remote") computer. The remote computer is able to connect to the home computer without problems.

I'm experiencing a very strange issue: on one laptop I cannot connect to one particular network, only on Ubuntu.

I've been trying to hook up a Ubuntu computer with my Panasonic TH-42PA60A Plasma television for weeks now. My original question was asked here, which includes all the specifications about the Television in detail and how I've connected the computer to the televsion.

So far, I've tried hooking up three other computers; 2 Ubuntu computers with fairly new graphic cards, and a Windows XP computer.

I have two hard drives in my computer. The first is a 128GB ssd with windows 7 installed. The second is a 1TB, used for file storage etc. I decided to wipe the second hard drive and install ubuntu onto it. Installation went fine, until my computer restarted.

In my bios settings the disk with ubuntu was set as the master boot.

I have signed up for Ubuntu One (U1) file storage account a few months ago. I am checking it from two computers but can not start the synchronization process.

On one of the computers I have about 2.2GB of files in "~/Ubuntu One" folder and it is always online. On the other computer I see no files in the "~/Ubuntu One" folder. Both show as "File Sync is up-to-date" in the U1 client.
