[ubuntu] Business Management Software Recommendation

http://ubuntuforums.org – I'm looking for a business management system that I can host on Ubuntu Server. We are looking for something similar to SharePoint. I need it to be web based and have the ability to share and collaborate on documents. I know there are a ton of solutions out there that can handle that. But... Most importantly I need it to be able to deal with forms. Users should be able to fill out forms and the data from the form gets routed through an appropriate workflow until approval is received (or whatever the end result might be). It would also be nice if the workflow could receive its data from web s (Hardware)

I'm not really sure if the software that I need is a workflow management software.

Basically I need something that I can host on a Linux server that will provide the following functionality:

support a pre-set workflow, allowing users to see where they are currently in the workflow, and whether they are expected to act, or they should wait for some external action users also need to see the dead

What is the best workflow for working on PHP Webpages (local) in "Ubuntu Desktop". My problem is, when i logIn with my Ubuntu Account, and when i open a php file "geany" i cannot save the file any more, because the file is owned by "www-data". Is there a way to open "www-data" owned files -> edit it -> and save them again as www-data?
